I think that when you take a photograph, there is less of this posing, since you cannot see yourself and make adjustments. yet i am sure that normal people do it to a lesser extent. i had no idea i was doing this but so many people tell me i do and ask me 'why do you do that?' and im like 'what?'Īnyway, i think it came from my mother used to ridicule my appearance and tell me i am ugly and stupid looking, so for me it is pretty extreme that i cannot acccept my appearance as it is.
so it is not my mind making adjustments, but it is *me* physically making them. Other people tell me that i make 'funny faces' when i look in the mirror. I thnk there is another explanation: the person looking in the mirror is physically contorting their face to adjust and look better.
